Polyprufe is part of the MACLENNAN-LSE Hydroprufe range of waterproofing systems. .
Environmentally Safe Polyurea NO SOLVENTS -NO EMMISSIONS -NO VOC
Polyurea is the ultimate coating system for roofs, basements, bunds, steels, tank linings and other applications. The durability and flexibility of Polurea spray coatings means that it is used on the hulls of ships and barges, Aircraft carrier decks and North sea oil rigs/ platforms for corrosion protection and asbestos encapsulation. It is used in some of the harshest conditions in the world for pipe work protection.
The system has been further developed over the last 20 years for use in waterproofing for basement tanking, reservoir lining, roof and deck waterproof finishes, concrete and steel protection, tank lining, asbestos encapsulation, pipe protection and bund lining.
Polyprufe is fast curing, even at very low temperatures, and water insensitive. The coatings and linings have exceptional mechanical properties, chemical resistance and durability. Polyprufe creates a high quality, waterproof elastic sprayed membrane which has many advantages over traditional waterproofing systems. It is allows for quick installation and is very cost-effective and compared to conventional solvent-based products.
Polyprufe is hot spray applied by MACLENNAN-LSE through a Plural Component Proportioning system. Once the system has been sprayed it can take foot traffic after 10 seconds and light vehicular traffic after a few hours. Polyprufe is a high end, seamless, Polyurea based elastomere with excellent mechanical and chemical properties.
